Lastly, I want to clear up a few things I have heard over the last few days.
1) My group was never booted from TL. No one was ever booted from TL. We had planned to leave and that is what happened.
2) This was not an EA op. We were invited by Polarized to attend. The credit for the hard work and planning should go to them.
3) No one was ever paid to attend this operation. People were either motivated by what they thought would be a huge fight, or people just didn't like TL.
4) I am in fact butthurt. Sitting on my ass for three days rolling a c5 static will do that.
Sorry Bane, but for an alliance diplo AND recruiter your spiel is lacking. Firstly, you drew a wrong conclusion from the Hard Knocks invasion.. The reason so many people came to help out Hard Knocks during their invasion was because their single corp was being invaded by TWO alliances. Even in the final battle report it shows that HRDX fielded 44 pilots compared to 45 from NoHO and 33 from W-space. So yeah, no kidding, everyone likes the underdog and no one likes the bully.
Second, its funny that you are saying that "batphone is here to stay" as part of your defense when the second point of your very own statement is that YOU and your alliance was batphoned. Mister Al on EvE-ru is also stating that w-space was batphoned in anticipation of a batphone. Gee, I wonder why good fights are so difficult to come by when everyone is META gaming to the max while evicting a pvping group of players.
Thirdly, I can totally relate to your painful multi day rolling session so you can evict a group of players with whom you parted on poor terms. Yeah this whole thing was for good fights for sure  |

On the monday morning one of EA dirs convoed me and asked whether we want to help with TL. He said that TL itself is manageable but TL batphoned whatever it could and could not - it was known that ssc/voc/kill/hk are coming + rumors of aharm coming.

You will notice that the Russian version of the "-¦-¦-é-ä-+-+-Å-é" is an active voice verb as opposed to your translation to "batphoned" which is a passive voice. The implications are staggering, it literally means that TL is still in the process of batphoning while w-space is being batphoned. THUS bringing me to my original point of w-space being batphoned because the defenders who were already outnumbered had the audacity to ask for help. If you want to get schooled again I offer private lessons... |

Please, let's just play the game in stead of moaning about how others play it.
Its not really a moral council as much as group of individuals that are trying to point out that people who constantly complain about lack of fights in w-space also happen to be the people who enjoy evicting others from w-space. Sandbox is all and good but if we as the residents of the sandbox collectively decide to crap in every single part of the said sandbox, well soon enough we wont be able to justify the sand part of the box. |
